There has been a thin attendance for Catechism classes in the last few Sundays. Parents kindly thicken it by encouraging your children for the faith formation.

MISSION SUNDAY WORKING PLAN FOR WARDS

 

  1. Each ward will write out its NAME and the CAPTION on Saturday after 4.00pm. The charts and permanent marker will be provided by PP.
  2. The list of food items are prepared and sent to all the parishioners. You could share the information with all your friends.
  3. Names and schedule of volunteers in the stall is prepared by the ward leaders. There should not be delay in serving the “Missionaries”.
  4.  Packaging items, plates, small cups, spoons, tissues, gloves, drawing sheets, permanent marker, two boxes (one to collect the coupon and the other for cash) will be provided by the parish on Saturday.
  5. The procedure of selling in each stall:
  1. The First volunteer takes the money and gives the coupon to the customer with broad smile & gratitude.
  2. The customer gives the coupon to the second volunteer.
  3. The second volunteer takes the coupon and tells the 3rd or 4th volunteer to distribute the items (food/tea/snacks) and puts the coupon in the box.
  4. The Third or Fourth Volunteer will serve the item quickly.
  5. The 5th and 6th volunteer will oversee if there is any help needed to pack and keep ready the item to clear the crowd.
  1. All the parishioners will participate in the auction soon after each mass. Hence all are REQUESTED TO SPEND SOME QUALITY TIME IN THE CHURCH PREMISES to go around, to see & speak to others and to experience the joy of PURCHASING for a special cause of MISSION.
  2. The auction items have to be submitted to your ward leaders or Victor Sequeira latest by 19th Saturday evening.
  3.  The dustbins will be provided all around the parish on Mission Sunday. Please put the waste in the dustbins.
  4. Drinking water will be available but children will sell colourful water.
  5. Two places will be arranged for hand washing besides sinks in the toilets.
  6.  Robin and Henson will help out in electric connections for the Electric Power plugs to place induction cooker and microwave and sound system.
  7. All the volunteers will have Special mass on 19th evening at 6.30pm.
  8. Those who wish to hand over the cheque for sponsoring or for the missions may do so in the office and collect the receipt for the same.
  9.  At the end of selling, the volunteers will help out in clear the stall (paper, plastic, menu list).
  10. The envelopes and Calendars are available in the office and near the notice boards. Kindly collect them.
